Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian theater, movie, and TV actress for more than 20 years. Although she had no intention to become an actor however, destiny took a completely opposite path. Following her success in her debut film she was offered numerous roles, which she turned down to pursue her studies. She returned to film at the age of 14 to portray the character of the mutant Rogue in X-Men - the initial film of the X-Men film series. This role brought the actress worldwide recognition. The character was reprised in the sequels X2: X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: The Second Stand. As soon as she became eligible, she was offered numerous offers of acting in television series, among them "True Blood" and "Flack."
